This inspiration wedding shoot from The Emerics* is nothing less than gorgeous. And imaginative! I love the film “Amelie”, and I had never considered intertwining elements from the film in the way they did. If you’re a fan of “Amelie”, you’ll recognize some things from the movie in the photos today. On their photography blog The Emerics write:

For our first ever wedding inspiration shoot, we decided to create a wedding inspired by one our favorite movies of all time, the French film Amelie.  We love the movie so much, our daughter’s middle name is Amelie!  So, if you’ve never seen the movie, I suggest you go watch it soon.  It’s such a sweet film about doing good and finding love.  It’s one of those movies that just makes you feel really good after watching it. We had so many ideas floating around but we  finally chose to narrow it down and focus on bringing out the organic elements of the movie and stick to it’s very specific color scheme of greens and reds.

I second that! “Amelie” is an amazing movie!

They worked with a team of amazing Las Vegas vendors to pull this dream into being – see below for a full list of the people who made this happen. For now – enjoy the photos, and don’t be afraid to consider different points of inspiration for your wedding if it has a theme. Let’s get to it!

*Yes, I used a capital T for the. That’s how awesome The Emerics are.

A number of the props and additional touches like the suitcase and cake table came from thrift stores! Other items, like the burlap sacks were handsewn by Jason Emeric.

That raspberry mille crepe cake looks divine, doesn’t it?

You know I’m a sucker for succulents. It’s like a tiny, perfect, bouquet … but it’s a boutonniere!

Artichokes are one of the things mentioned in the French film.

Thank you so much Jessie and Jason, for letting me feature this imaginative photoset! I can’t wait to see what else you cook up…
